Fall and Winter thus far

Yes.  We are still playing catch-up with posts and after this one, there should be one more.  But here is the documentation that we were alive last fall (unfortunately didn't take more pictures than this, mainly due to some not fun morning sickness and me not wanting to do anything or eat anywhere) and some of our winter adventures thus far.

We took a trip on our anniversary down to the new sporting goods store Scheels and road the ferris wheel

Took a hike or tried to take a hike up to elephant rock

Only made it partway up and had to turn around because it was getting dark fast

Our Halloween decorated porch

Mine and the Higgy Baby's pumpkins

Richard's freehand carving . . . way more ambitious than I was willing to be

First big snow!

I was excited

So there's this fun overhang where we will be adding a carport on eventually and the snow melts off and falls into the pathway on the right side of the cars

There's a picture of the outside of our house

We made a couple of snowmen, which then melted a couple of days later

Fun at Trolley Square

Fun at City Creek

City Creek again

Richard being cool . . . or so he thinks :)

Temple Square lights

Reflecting pond

Us

Richard hanging up our Christmas lights . . . I made him wear the Santa hat

The only exterior light hanging I did was around the door

The finished product . . . still not sure about the LED lights, they kind of freak out my eyes

Richard made himself an igloo after we got a couple feet of snow

The pathway he shoveled through the backyard

Nice and cozy . . . Sorry we never played board games in your igloo Rich

Yeah, have some snow

  1. I LOVED seeing your house all lit up for Christmas and Halloween. Not many Higginsons do that so it's extra fun when one does.
Glad you two are having a lot of fun together. Keep it up.
    Love you lots.

I hope the morning sickness has kicked itself to the curb. :P
