Oregon/Washington Trip Part II

Yes, I had to document this trip in 2 parts because of how blogger will only let me upload a certain number of photos to one post without paying for more space.  So here's the rest of our trip :)

Our fudge treat from the gift shop at Multnomah Falls

The old highway

Vista Point (I think that's what it is)

The view (it was so windy and cold that we took pictures from the car)

Bridge in Portland

Portland Temple

Goobers

Snow again

And again in Eugene, Oregon where we searched for a gas station with no luck

Green

Blurry, but it's another state border.  California!

My first time in the Redwoods!

Umm, yeah.

Richard in a small tree

Getting bigger

Sideways tree with Spencer and Kristi's kids

Tall

And even bigger

Biggest one we saw

Have some roots?

Silly Lila

Lighthouse off the Oregon coast (yes, I did play with the colors a bit)

We're cute

The drive home

Even more snow

Finally leaving Oregon after our 3 hour detour to Burns, Oregon

Nevada, where we got pulled over the second time.  The first time was in Boise.  I won't give away the outcome of either of those.  Just know, it wasn't pretty.

Finally back to Utah!  Mind you we lost service on Richard's phone in Oregon and didn't get any until we were close to Salt Lake City.  Oh, and mine was still in Oregon just in case you forgot.  That's how we got lost in Oregon.

Pretty sunset, or at least I thought so through the back window of the car.  Needless to say, even though we had some bad weather, tickets and a lost phone; the trip was worth it and a lot of fun overall :)

  1. This was a trip down memory lane. I went to a lot of these places on my trips to Oregon, but I was there in the summer. I'm moving to Eugene in two weeks, I hope the snow leaves by then.
