Good, but bad
So this past week has been pretty fun for the most part. I bought a car (a 2007 Nissan Sentra) and I may possibly have a crush on it. I will have car payments for the next 5 years, but I'm planning on paying it off sooner. On Tuesday, I went to a wedding reception. It was really the only relationship I have ever seen unfold up to the big day. I actually know both the people, so that made it doubly fun. The bad part of last week involved me putting together their wedding dvd for their reception. I was using imovie on my macbook and was letting the movie export so I could put it into dvd format and it was going to take about an hour. I decided to go run a last minute errand and when I returned, the spinning pinwheel of death was on my desktop and everything was frozen. I rebooted my computer, but it wouldn't go past the startup screen with the apple on it. I cried, then got cleaned up and went to the reception. On thusday I took my macbook to the Apple store in the Gateway and tried to see if someone at the Genius Bar could fix my poor computer. No such luck though. I have to get a new harddrive and a new optical drive. The really bad part is that there is a 99% chance I will loose everything that I had on my computer. There is one upside though; the warranty on the computer was 70 days over, but they still waived the $400 and I don't have to pay a thing. Hopefully I should have a working computer by the middle of next week.

Sad day about your computer! My battery has been weird but thus far it mercifully still works so I don't have to spend a bum load of money to get a new one. You should post pictures of your new car!
